TOI - ROTORUA ARTS FESTIVAL PRESENTS

The Art of Creative Costuming

27 Oct 2023 - 06 Nov 2023

An exhibition of everyday New Zealand Costume Designers

Showcasing 2023 & 2024 award-winning costume creations by Amanda Hamlin and Trace Dainty, the fascinating ‘Elizabugthan’ by WoW finalist & designer Tracey Murphy, delightful contributions from local talents Ria Hermans and Dean Flemming, and many more. This exhibition is a joyous tribute to the costume enthusiasts of everyday New Zealanders.

It celebrates ordinary Kiwis who have found their artistic expression within the captivating, eccentric, and incredibly enjoyable realm of Creative Costuming. We invite you to immerse yourself in this world of imagination and creativity.

Brought to you by Friends of the Rotorua Museum, in collaboration with CNZ Wild Adventures, the organizers of the "Costumiers' Fantasy Masquerade Ball" weekend. We extend a warm invitation for you to experience this free, public exhibition.

Open from Friday 27 Oct - Sunday 5 Nov, at the Sir Howard Morrison Centre.
