One of Aotearoa’s most influential artists, Che Fu celebrates the 25th anniversary of his landmark album Navigator with a special nationwide tour this October.
An Evening with Che Fu & The Kratez will see the pioneering artist perform songs from Navigator, alongside favourites from across his celebrated career, backed by his powerhouse live band, The Kratez.
Joining the tour are an outstanding line-up of New Zealand music legends - soul icon Aaradhna, known for her signature blend of soul and R&B, Betty-Anne, the iconic voice of Ardijah and a pioneer of Polynesian soul, and hip hop trailblazer King Kapisi, one of Aotearoa’s most influential MCs.
A fearless fusion of soul, reggae, hip hop, rock and Pacific influences, Navigator captured the voice of a generation. Featuring classics including Misty Frequencies, Fade Away and Waka, the album became a defining soundtrack for Aotearoa and remains one of the most influential releases in New Zealand music history.
