Following the worldwide success of Queen’s music, this iconic rock musical promises a high-energy, crowd-pleasing experience packed with anthems including Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites the Dust, We Are the Champions, and of course, We Will Rock You.

Written by Ben Elton and featuring the legendary music of Queen, the show has captivated more than 20 million theatregoers across the globe since its debut on London’s West End. Now, it’s Rotorua’s turn to experience this epic story of rebellion, freedom, and the power of rock.

Director Toni Henderson says the local cast is ready to bring something truly special to the stage.

Set in a futuristic world where live music is banned and individuality is crushed, We Will Rock You follows the story of Galileo and Scaramouche as they fight back against the powerful Globalsoft Corporation to bring rock ’n’ roll back to the people. The result is a bold, funny, and moving journey filled with unforgettable songs and dazzling performances.
